RealBooks has native apps for iOS and Android. Download from the App Store or Google Play and log in with the same credentials you use on desktop — everything syncs in real time.

Once installed, log in with your RealBooks account. Everything is synced — a receipt you scan on your phone shows up immediately on your desktop, and vice versa.
What You Can Do on Mobile

Section titled “Capture Receipts on the Spot”At a property and just paid a contractor? Tap Scan Receipt, take a photo, and PennyAI extracts the vendor, amount, date, and suggested category in seconds. The best time to capture a receipt is right when you get it — you’ll never lose a deduction to a forgotten pocket receipt again.
Review and Approve Transactions
Section titled “Review and Approve Transactions”Bank-synced transactions come in throughout the day. Use a spare minute to review PennyAI’s categorization suggestions, approve what’s right, and correct what isn’t. Staying current daily means no end-of-month reconciliation scramble.
Check Your Portfolio
Section titled “Check Your Portfolio”Pull up your dashboard to see total portfolio value, equity, and NOI from anywhere — at a property walkthrough, a lender meeting, or a deal negotiation. Having your numbers at your fingertips matters.
Monitor and Update Rehab Projects
Section titled “Monitor and Update Rehab Projects”Running a renovation? Update task statuses, log expenses, and track your budget while you’re on-site. Your project stays current without waiting until you’re back at your desk.
Stay on Top of Notifications
Section titled “Stay on Top of Notifications”The app surfaces action items as they arrive — new transactions waiting for review, PennyAI categorization suggestions, and project updates.
Tips for Mobile Use
Section titled “Tips for Mobile Use”- Scan receipts immediately. Ten seconds at the job site beats twenty minutes hunting for receipts at month-end.
- Review transactions while you wait. Parking lots, contractor hold music, and waiting rooms are all great for a quick approval pass.
- Enable notifications. You’ll get alerted when new transactions come in and when PennyAI needs your input.
Desktop vs. Mobile
Section titled “Desktop vs. Mobile”All RealBooks features are accessible on both desktop and mobile. A few tasks are naturally easier on the larger screen:

Offline Access
Section titled “Offline Access”The app requires an internet connection to sync data. If you’re at a property with spotty service, pages you’ve already loaded remain viewable — but new data won’t sync until you’re back online.
